Mikumi is Tanzania’s fourth-largest national park. It’s also the most accessible from Dar es Salaam. Overnight staying at the campsite for dinner and sleep.

I loved the elephant herds with small babies; the zebras and giraffes. We couldn’t spot lions, but we were lucky to see a leopard hunting for impala. Amazing! The park landscape is nice with the surrounding mountains, but a little bit boring.
We did a 2 day safari in Mikumi NP and a one-day hike in the Uluguru Mountains. Noel made sure everything was organized very well, and we had a fantastic time. Especially the hike was one of the highlight of our trip in Tanzania.
